The 'candle and cake' design has again claimed its place at the top of the pile as the most popular lid for the gift hampers. Week in week out this lid is selected rarely being knocked out of the top 3. The generic simplicity of the design is what appeals. The fact that its just a cake with birthday balloons means it can be enjoyed by a greater range of people. This is due to it not targeting and specific age range or gender. As it stands the design is in second place in the 'all time tables' to the 'flower design'. 

The 'flower design' in spite its rank of being the number one chosen lid has this week totally been knocked off the top 5 list. In second place is a 'happy birthday design'. The beauty of this design is that it allows you to pick the custom age to appear on the lid. You can further customise the design by selecting if you wish the age to be illustrated by balloons or candles.

In position three this week we have the 'aged to perfection' gift hamper design. Similar to the happy birthday design, you can customise the age and have it illustrated by candles or balloons. The main difference is in the title... aged to perfection obviously aimed at a more mature crowd with a slight humours approach.

In 4th place we have the 'happy anniversary balloon' design. This is one of our newest designs which if this week is anything to go by is proving popular. Perhaps again its appeal is in its simplicity. From looking at our design we can generally see the simple generic designs tend to be the more popular.

We have seen a lot of anniversary designs in recent months. We predict from looking at the pattern this is due to more people having weddings in the summer months, hence the great demand this time of year. 

Lastly this week we have a 'thank you flower design'. This is also one of our newer designs from the thank you gift hamper occasions. Interesting that this thank you gift hamper design has reached the top 5. Perhaps this is the design that will give the 'flower design' from the number one all time spot a run for its money.

Moving on from fathers Days domination the last couple of weeks the top 5 gift occasions have changed yet again. Birthday and thank you claim the top two spots which are also the top 2 in the all time list.

Anniversary, wedding and get well have made it onto the list this week proving ever more popular. The hotter weather at this time of year is a favorate when planning weddings which may explain the increase in popularity at the moment.
